Jet recently reunited with Eli to demo some new material for their third album. It wasn't Barbados, but nearly as much fun....

Techno-mischiefmakers Thugfucker came in to mix their first full length with Eli, appropriately titled "12 inch". The Icelandic/Brooklyn-by-way-of-Rome duo busted out some heavy dance moves in the conrol room.

Sam Champion were in mixing with Eli in November.

Stephen Fretwell's album "Man On The Roof" entered the UK album charts at number 44! The big single "Now" comes out the first week of January 2008, come on number one!!

Motion City Soundtrack's new album has reached number 16 in the Billboard top 100 albums!!! The tour is selling out everywhere as well.

Melissa Auf Der Maur came into Ishlab again to work with Eli on her new record, film AND comic book!

Eli mixes three songs for Holy Fuck, the Canadian noise dance monsters. Recently signed to XL recordings their new cd "LP" is out in December. Update: they got an amazing review in Pitchfork! Check it out here.

Eli and Rudyard Lee Cullers recorded Clap Your Hands Say Yeah live at the Mercury Lounge to release in conjunction with their new cd "Some Loud Thunder". It was loud.

Eli is coproducing the new Motion City Soundtrack album with Adam Schlesinger at Stratosphere in Manhattan, popunktasticity!

Stephen Fretwell and Eli recorded new tracks for his upcoming Fiction records (Polydor UK) release. Eli Produced, mixing is slated to begin in March.

Eli produced and mixed new band Illinois for the whole month of October at Ishlab for Chrysalis Publishing. The first release is an ep on Ace Fu records.

Nicole Atkins came into Eli's studio to record one single solitary song for a new ep.

Local heroes The Picture came in for a spell and recorded a great song with Eli. We forgot to take pictures. Heh.

Eli was in the Avatar and the Cutting room studios mixing Perry Farrell's new band Satellite Party for Steve Lillywhite. Much sushi was consumed.

Stephen Fretwell came over from hie Manchester hometown to record with Eli for three weeks for Fiction/Polydor UK. The first long term project at the new studio location in DUMBO, Stephen was "Delighted...."

The Five O'Clock Heroes returned to Eli's studio to mix their new cd, Eli also is appearing in one of the videos for the album! Embarassing clip online soon....

Eli mixed a live recording of two nights at the Bowery Ballroom for UK dub rockers Hard-Fi,

Eli was in Electric Ladyland and Stratosphere studios with Motion City Soundtrack producing a track for the new Superman movie. New: it's now available on the iTunes music store!

Seafood came over to New York from their native London to mix their new album with Eli for Cooking Vinyl.  Beautiful songs, heavy guitars, everything you wanted for Christmas but didn't get.

Eli has finished producing the SF dance-rock band Every Move A Picture for V2 records. It kicks ass. Should be out in May worldwide.

The demo for New Radio, which Eli produced and mixed, has led to their signing to Atlantic records. Eli will be producing their debut effort in the spring.

Eli was lucky enough to record James Blunt live for two nights at the Bowery Ballroom. Sounded amazing, that guy is really talented.

Eli was also recently in the studio with Quintus, producing a demo for Columbia Records.

Viva K sent Eli their album to mix, a beautiful mix of rock and Eastern influenced electronica, it's coming out on Stinky Records.

Eli has just returned from Barbados (!) recording some new songs with Elektra record's platinum artists Jet. Just another writing session for these Aussie superstars...

Mixing, mixing, mixing!  Eli has put the finishing touches on the new Enon record. A compilation of sorts, Eli mixed about half the songs, and created the intricate sequence with the band. John the lead singer has this to say about the upcoming Touch & Go release : "The new record is an undefinitive collection of things the common man (who does not have a record player or check our website regularly or check every compilation we've been on) needs to be hearing. We simply took the time to narrow down the fat and remix it all into something that may sound more like a cohesive record than any of our regular full lengths."

Eli is mixing a track for Ursula 1000 for his forthcoming full length on ESL records. He also mixed the first single released by a new electronic duo called Thugfucker for release in Europe. And Eli is currently mixing a full-length cd by Spanish  rockers Ya te Digo.

Eli has just finished the debut album by a new Dutch band called Voicst. The 14 track cd is out now on PIAS in Benelux and they are considering offers by other labels here and abroad.

Melissa Auf Der Maur's solo album is out and getting rave reviews. NME calls it "a hugely sexual, gleefully psychedelic rock record...full of deliciously melancholic stadium destroyers and beautifully de-tuned melodic bombs" (Eli gleefully engineered)

Jesse Malin's album has recieved four stars from Rolling Stone! The Eli engineered and mixed album is called "sharply drawn slices of naked-city life"

Eli mixed the lead single of UK punksters The Martini Henry Rifles new album. The single "Infomercial", will be released this summer.

A new EP by Ryan Adams called "The Moroccan Role" is now available exclusively on the iTunes web store. Eli co-produced and engineered.

The Jesse Malin full-length "The Heat" is now finished and coming out in late May on Artemis records! Eli mixed and engineered the full album plus co-produced several tracks.

The Secret Machines were also in Eii's studio demoing two new songs while they wait for their new cd on Warner Brothers to be released.

Eli also just completed work on The Rapture's new single "All is Love", engineering the A-side with Steve Lillywhite producing and mixing three live tracks for the b-side from their Bowery Ballroom shows in December.
